View Fuel Consumption and Optimize Throttle Settings in Real-Time
The vessel-based FuelTrax Monitoring System is used by Vessel Operations to monitor fuel flow, optimize fuel efficiency and view fuel levels in tanks. FuelTrax includes advanced, accurate flow sensor technology and engine room electronics designed for the harsh marine environment.
To achieve optimized fuel efficiency, fundamental principles of physics are applied to real-time measurements of fuel consumption, speed and direction of the vessel. Using proprietary technology, FuelTrax then determines the optimum throttle settings for maximum fuel efficiency based on the collective forces acting on the vessel.
On-board wheelhouse monitoring allows throttle adjustments that reduce fuel consumption, typically with little to no loss of speed. When used properly, FuelTrax may reduce fuel consumption, depending on existing conditions.
